A once in a blue moon weekend

Ahhhhh, so not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow! I started my 6 days a week schedule recently and am starting school on top of that here at the beginning of April! I was fortunate enough to have a full sat/sun off weekend this week for the last time in a while! Had a great time which included a fundraiser at one of the local Burien bars, relaxing, my first Japanese steak house in Tukwila! (amazing), more bars, The Big Climb today in Seattle (benefiting the leukemia foundation), naps and good food.

Tomorrow it’s back on the work wagon and work out wagon! Me an d Jillian Michaels are still getting along nicely. I start an actual diet in April I guess 😉

Looking for a good workout? Don’t have a lot of time??

Hey guys!

So, I just wanted to give a workout recommendation to anyone looking for one. If you don’t have much time or much money or whatever the case might be look up Jillian Michaels on YouTube. Yeah, you can buy her full videos too (and I have purchased one: 6 week six pack), but there is a wide range of her videos on Youtube. The majority of her vids are around 20 minutes of high energy workout. All you usually need is maybe one or two 5-8lb weights. Some vids don’t need a weight at all. I have done everything from her 20min Yoga Meltdown (which I love and doesn’t need a weight, but you might want a mat) to her 45 minute Banish Fat Boost Metabolism video. I’m not going to lie, you might need an inhaler.

You might need to work out to a full video if you haven’t been working out regularly, but they are very beneficial and you feel great about yourself after. I have been doing a variety of these about 5 days a week for probably 5 weeks now. I feel a lot better. I am usually a healthy and moderate eater anyway, so I haven’t been dieting any further really.

Moral of the story is….I love Jillian Michaels!
